He was reported missing on Friday after he failed to meet an appointment at his Kilbirnie Law practice.
His white 1991 Nissan Sunny station wagon was found parked at the Owhiro Bay car park on Friday afternoon. Police later ascertained that it had been there since around midnight on Thursday.
Head of Wellington Search and Rescue (SAR) Sergeant Jo Holden says search teams consisting of Police and Land SAR volunteers were deployed to the South Coast on Friday night, and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter also spent over an hour searching the Owhiro Bay, Red Rocks and surrounding areas.
"Yesterday we put six Search teams back into the area, and the Wellington Police Maritime Unit also completed a thorough shore line search."
"Today we called in back-up from Horowhenua and Wairarapa to help in today's search, which enabled us to put nine teams in the field."
The Westpac Rescue helicopter searched for a further hour and a half today to cover the area again.
The Police National Dive Squad today searched an area of shore close to where Mr Logan's car was located with no result.
Several of Mr Logan's friends and family were also out over the weekend looking in places he is known to frequent on the South Coast.
The Search has been now been suspended until Police can obtain further information regarding his location.
Sergeant Holden is urging anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr Logan to phone Police immediately.
